Good, old-fashioned customer service

We love providing one-on-one service to our customers!  You will never be put in an automated call loop. If we are here, we will personally answer the phone, or if we are busy, you can feel free to leave a message knowing that a live person will hear the message and call you back.

We know many of our customers by name, and welcome their call to our office at 1-800-826-0534. Our office hours are Mondays and Fridays 10am to 5pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am to 2pm.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to receive my wine?

Depending on where you live in the United States it could take as little as 24 hours up to 5 days to receive your package.

What are the shipping dates each month?

We process charge cards mid week during the third week of each month, and pack and ship wine the following week. Unless extremely high heat is a factor, we will be shipping wine out a few days before the end of the month.
During December, we process cards and ship earlier so you will have your wine for Christmas!

How do you select wines each month?

We have a panel of tasters that choose 2 reds, 2 whites and 1 sweet wine for our club members each month.

If I select 2 of the same option per month, what will I receive?

If you decide on 2 reds or 2 whites for your membership, you will receive 1 of each red wine and 1 of each white wine. If you have chosen 2 sweets for your membership, you will receive 2 of the same sweet wine, unless you call and request one of our previous sweet selections!  We are happy to make substitutions for you!

Can Virginia wine be shipped out of state?

Most states allow out of state wine to be shipped. This list changes periodically, but for now, the states that can receive shipments of out of state wine are: VA, MD, DC, AL, FL, IL, MI, MN, NC, SC, NH, NY, PA, MO. AZ, AK, CA, OR, WA, TX, NM, and CO.

Will I receive a tracking notification?

Absolutely, the moment FedEx scans your package upon arrival to retrieve it you are notified that your package is on the way and your tracking number will be given. 

Why does someone over the age of 21 have to sign for the delivery?

It is a federal law that someone over the age of 21 has to be available to sign for the package. If this is an issue for you we can have you set up to have your package shipped to one of the convenient FedEx Onsite locations. This gives you 5 days to pick up at your own convenience.

What is The Virginia Wine of the Month Club return policy?

If for some reason you’re unsatisfied or feel the wine is spoiled we will gladly send you a replacement bottle in the following club shipment.

What is The Virginia Wine of the Month Club cancellation policy and how do I cancel?

We have no set amount of time, we do ask if you will notify us right after receiving your last shipment before we start selecting wines for the following month.
